Ten products · One standard

Software that does the work, and shows its work.

Steel Lantern builds focused tools for people who can't afford a wrong answer: front desks, town clerks, freight brokers, medical practices, store owners, property managers, and the developers building AI agents. Each one does one job end to end, and its answers come from records you can check.

Seven smaller tools on the same engine. Each one does a single job, and each one is free to try.

Prices are each product's own terms. The usage count is that product's live data, read 25 Oct 2026, with our own test runs left out. Prices and coverage were read from each product's own site on 4 Nov 2026. Live dates come from each product's deploy history on our hosting account, read 28 Oct 2026.

How we build

Three rules we build by.

Source

Our products answer from real sources: your website, public records, official datasets, the page itself.

Limits

When a product can't confirm something, it tells you so instead of guessing.

Receipts

You can see the source behind the answer, so you can check the work yourself.

About

One maker.
Ten tools.

Steel Lantern is Bryan, building from Cleveland County, North Carolina, since 2026. Every tool on the wall started as one job someone was doing by hand: picking up the phone after hours, writing up the council meeting, checking a carrier before the load goes out.

Why so many? They all run on the same engine. Pull from the real source, keep the receipt, and say so when something can't be confirmed. Once that engine works, each new job is a short build, and every tool has to hold up against real records before it goes on the wall.

Small is the point. When you write in, the person who built the tool reads it and answers within one business day.
